[October 1, 2016] The Blue Diamonds/VS team won a physical battle with the Murphy Royals by the score of 20-14. The game was relatively close all the way with opposing defenses playing tough on both sides. Zee Zee (4 points, 5 steals, 1 rebound and 1 blocked shot) played a tremendous defensive game and caused havoc for the Royals by disrupting their offense all game. She was perhaps the biggest difference maker.

The Diamonds top scorers this season are Gabby and Aliya and both girls paced a balanced scoring attack finishing with 5 points each. Other strong performances came from Malynn (4 points, 4 rebounds 1 assist and 1 blocked shot), Janet (2 points, 5 steals, and 3 rebounds) and Shelbi (5 rebounds and 1 blocked shot).
