[September 11, 2016]: The Blue Diamonds VS team remained undefeated this fall with a 31-26 victory over Orange Crush. After a very slow start, the Diamonds found themselves behind 4-0 after the first quarter but then took control of the game with a dazzling 14-2 second quarter domination. Throughout the game, the Diamonds used their superior speed and athleticism to consistently get to the basket for driving layups.

Gabby (9 points, 4 rebounds, 1 steal and 2 blocked shots) lead all scorers and was once again outstanding as her speed, strength and athleticism caused problems for Orange Crush all game. Aliya (8 points and 1 steal) was the player to really get things going for the Diamonds in the second quarter to break the game wide open by attacking the basket for nice layups.

Other strong performances came from Zee Zee (6 points, 1 rebound and 1 steal); Malynn (4 points, 5 rebounds, 1 steal and 2 blocked shots); Aashika (8 rebounds) and Janet, who played through a nagging ankle injury to contribute 2 points, 2 rebounds and 2 steals.
