[September 10, 2016]: The Blue Diamonds B team lost their fall season opener to Game Face by the score of 24-14. The Diamonds kept within 4 points through the first quarter but could not overcome being shutout 12-0 in the second quarter. In the second half the Diamonds clamped down on defense, limiting Game Face to just 4 points the entire half. Poor shooting and turnovers were the primary reasons for the loss but the Diamonds never gave up.

Kay Shin (6 points, 7 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot) lead all scorers and played a very solid all-around game. Other strong performances came from Hailey (4 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 steals); Priscilla (2 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 steals); Chloe (2 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals); Neha (5 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steal and 1 blocked shot) and Rylie (3 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal).
