[October 7, 2016] The Blue Diamonds/B team could not match the early intensity of Hawks Select in a 24-14 loss. After falling behind 11-4 at halftime, the Diamonds were more aggressive in the second half but were never able to pull within striking distance.

Kay Shin (21 rebounds, 5 steals, 2 assists and 2 blocked shots) was able to match the Hawks intensity and have another outstanding game rebounding the ball but it was not enough. Other strong performances came from Chloe (6 points, 2 rebounds, 2 steals and 1 blocked shot), Priscilla (4 points, 1 rebound, 1 steal, 1 assist and 1 blocked shot), Neha (2 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 1 blocked shot) and Rylie (2 points, 3 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot).
